Shake Shack Opens First Location in Raleigh’s Village District

Shake Shack, a popular burger chain, has opened its first location in Raleigh, NC at Clark Avenue in Raleigh’s Village District. The new restaurant has a 3,678-square-foot kitchen and dining room with a 600-square-foot patio. It includes a large dining room and patio seating.

The opening on Thursday saw the first 100 customers receiving free Shake Shack merchandise, and for each sandwich sold, $1 went towards supporting PORCH Raleigh, which serves food-insecure families.

The Broughton High School dance team and drumline also performed during the ribbon cutting. This new location marks the seventh Shake Shack in North Carolina.
